SOON TO BE ON OUR WAY BACK TO BEAUTIFUL ITALY

Here we go again.  Yep, as you may or may not know, we are headed back to Italy and beautiful IL MOLINO DI BORDONE to house sit for Caroline and Pino Nobile while they are away operating their tours to Sicily, Perugia, and  Umbria.  We invite all our friends and family to come and see us while we are there  We will be leaving the USA on Sunday, April 13, 2014 and returning on Saturday, May 24, 2014. And, believe it or not, we will be going back to help again around September 5th and will stay to help with the olive harvest in late October.  As soon as we have the dates in the Fall we will let you know.  There are four well maintained
exceptionally clean units.  The Il Molinello and the Torre Suite can comfortably accommodate two people and as many as four.  The Fontanella, my favorite, can accommodate four people and up to six. And the La Stalla Rustica can easily accommodate three couples.  Each unit is complete with living room, fully equipped kitchen and well appointed bedrooms.  All have private baths and a  washer (I'll tell you about the special dryer for each unit when you get there).  You can make a reservation by going to their web site where you can see what is available and the price for the time you will be there.  Tell Caroline that you are friends of ours.  Please do not expect a special discount because their rates are very reasonable.  You will definitely get your money's worth.  You can do all this on line or by phone.  Their web site with all the information is www.caspin.com.
If you can't click on this address, copy and paste it into your address bar.  Brenda and I will be there to greet you upon your arrival with a special welcome reception with the local wines and a taste of  local Tuscan food.  Hey, what the heck, we might as well get you off your diet as soon as you get there.  From IL MOLINO you can easily visit many of the Tuscan treasures from Cortona (home of Under The Tuscan Sun) to Florence, Rome and all the historical sites in between. Most are within driving distance or are accessible by train from the nearby train station.  Hope you come either Spring or Fall to join us.  You too can enjoy the view you see in above pictures.  Both pictures are taken from the olive grove and show IL MOLINO and the beautiful Tuscan countryside. As the saying goes these pictures do not do justice to the beauty you will enjoy while you are there.

One of the sunny, roomy bedrooms
Here are pictures of the Fontanella.  This is my favorite unit.  Caroline and Pino did an excellent job decorating this unit in typical Tuscan decor.  It is extremely comfortable, as are all the other units, and quite large.  Each bedroom has its own full bath and there is a half bath off the living room.   The gourmet kitchen has everything you need to prepare a great Tuscan meal.  Or better yet, you can hire Luca to do it for you.  His price is very reasonable.  You purchase the food and watch and help him cook it.  This is an outstanding gastronomic adventure.  We can help set this up for you when you are there, as long as Luca is available, or we can arrange it for you before you arrive.

STAY TUNED, MORE TO COME AS WE GET CLOSER TO LEAVING FOR ITALY.
